Caution

Country: South Sudan

Location: Abyei Administrative Area, South Sudan

A measles outbreak has been confirmed among Sudanese refugees arriving in the Abyei Administrative Area, border region between South Sudan and Sudan, overwhelming local health services and creating high transmission. Health officials also report a rise in Hepatitis E cases, linked to contaminated water and poor sanitation conditions. • Drink only bottled, boiled, or chlorinated water and eat only fully cooked food; avoid raw produce and street food.
  • Practice strict hygiene: wash hands with soap frequently and use disinfectants.
  • If symptoms appear: For measles: fever, rash, cough, red eyes, isolate immediately and seek medical care. For hepatitis E: jaundice, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, seek care promptly, especially pregnant women.

Farmer Protests and Disruptions across Greece

Caution

Blockades remain firmly in place at the Evzoni, Niki, Promachonas, and Kipi borders. • Prepare for significant delays at the Evzoni, Niki, Promachonas, and Kipi border crossings.
  • Adjust your travel plans and check flight status to prevent delays due to road closures, blocked crossings, and traffic.
  • If already in the affected areas, at the airport, or driving, make sure to carry enough food, water, medication, power banks, and documents in case of extended stoppages or delays.
