On June 17, 2025, Northern Ireland experienced a second consecutive night of violent unrest in Derry/Londonderry. Around 30 masked youths gathered near Orchard Row and Nailors Row, launching petrol bombs, fireworks, and masonry at police officers. This follows similar disturbances on June 16, during which three officers were injured. Tactical units and canine teams were deployed by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) to control the situation. Two teenage suspects, including a 13-year-old, have been arrested in connection with the ongoing disorder. Health Alert – Cholera Outbreak

Mozambican health authorities declared a cholera outbreak in Marromeu district after identifying 32 confirmed cases and 3 deaths within two weeks. This follows ongoing seasonal outbreaks largely affecting northern and central regions, including Sofala, with nearly 3,900 cases and 59 fatalities reported nationally since October 2024.   Advice: - Make sure you are vaccinated against Cholera. - Practice good hygiene; wash your hands with soap and clean water, especially before eating and after using the restroom. - Drink only boiled or treated water.
