In Northwest India, particularly in Delhi, widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds are expected over the next four to five days, until June 4, as a result of ongoing Western Disturbances.   Advice: - Refrain from traveling through high-risk zones. - Travelers in low-lying or hilly regions should relocate to higher ground and remain alert for evacuation orders. - Stay informed about IMD advisories and local disaster alerts by visiting www.imd.gov.in. - Keep emergency supplies and important documents in waterproof containers. - If outdoors during storm events, avoid rivers, streams, and unstable slopes. On May 28, a military clash occurred along the Thai-Cambodian border in Techo Morakort village, Preah Vihear province. The Cambodian Ministry of National Defense reported that Thai forces fired on a trench held by Cambodian soldiers, resulting in one Cambodian servicemember's death. Thai sources, however, claim that Cambodian troops initiated the exchange. While there are no coastal watches or warnings in effect, hazardous swells are impacting the Pacific coast of western Mexico and the Baja California Peninsula. A northward turn is expected on Friday, followed by weakening later that day. On May 29, 2025, the Kanti Lokpath, connecting Hetauda to Kathmandu, was blocked after floodwaters from the Bagmati River swept away the access road to the Bagmati bridge on the Makawanpur side following heavy rainfall on Wednesday night. A diesel tanker heading to Lalitpur and a truck carrying kitchen goods to Kathmandu were swept 200 meters downstream. A dry landslide at Bharyangdanda near Thigan further obstructs the route.
