A strong storm system is expected to impact Western Australia from 30 May into 1 June, bringing damaging to locally destructive winds, heavy rain, severe thunderstorms and dangerous coastal conditions. The Bureau of Meteorology warned that locally destructive wind gusts above 125 km/h may affect areas southwest of Lancelin to Albany, including Perth. According to ABC, flash flooding, coastal erosion, waves up to 8–9 meters and Rottnest ferry cancellations are possible on Sunday.

• Avoid unnecessary travel, beaches, coastal roads, exposed viewpoints and ferry travel during the storm.
• Secure loose outdoor items and prepare for possible power outages.
• Allow extra travel time and monitor official weather and emergency updates from the Bureau of Meteorology

Budapest is expected to experience significant crowd movement, heightened security and localized transport disruptions on 30 May due to the UEFA Champions League Final at Puskás Aréna. Authorities and transport operators are preparing for large fan gatherings, increased airport traffic and crowd-control measures across the city. Around 4,000 police officers are expected to be deployed, public transport services will be reinforced, and match ticket holders will be able to use Budapest public transport free of charge from 29–31 May.

* Avoid driving near Puskás Aréna, fan zones and major central routes.
* Allow extra travel time to/from Budapest Airport and railway stations.
* Use public transport where possible and expect crowding before and after the match.

Thailand’s Meteorological Department warns of continued heavy to very heavy rain due to a strong southwest monsoon affecting Thailand, the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Flash floods and overflows are possible, especially near streams, in low-lying areas, and on mountain slopes. Rough seas are expected in the Andaman Sea, and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea have been advised to remain ashore until 4 June.

Tropical Storm Domeng is moving over the Philippine Sea and may intensify into a typhoon. The system is currently less likely to make landfall, but may enhance the southwesterly windflow, bringing heavy rain, strong gusts and rough seas to parts of the Philippines. Coastal travel and small-boat operations may be affected, especially along exposed coastlines and in areas under local weather advisories.

Rail services through New York Penn Station are recovering after an earlier Amtrak maintenance train fire near the Hudson River tunnels. The fire has been contained, and service has resumed, but NJ Transit passengers may still face delays, cancellations, and route changes, including Midtown Direct diversions to Hoboken.
