Over the past 72 hours, MAGNUS teams have been operated in Morocco in assistance to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Firstly, coordination and assistance were provided in the transfer of Israeli tourists from Marrakech to Casablanca.
Simultaneously, teams were deployed to the country with the aim of locating individuals who had lost contact in the area, providing initial medical assistance, and assisting in their safe evacuation and return home. The teams began their journey in Casablanca, through Marrakesh, and also in the mountainous village areas where the damage was significant.
As part of the activity, medical personnel among the teams provided humanitarian medical assistance to the local community. The teams have returned to Israel today, but the MAGNUS Operations Center is expected to continue supporting several Israeli associations on-site equipped with satellite communication devices.
