Over the past few months, the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel and MAGNUS International Search & Rescue have been working together to strengthen the safety net for Israeli citizens.
The Head of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel, Mr. Haim Bibas, sent a message to the authorities, informing them of the purchase of 600 satellite communication devices for nationwide distribution to the authorities, which began these days
The devices operate on the same network and are connected 24/7 to a shared control center.
The network operates independently of cellular/internet networks in case of emergency communication failure, the devices will serve the authorized emergency services, heads of local security, and relevant officials.
This collaboration is an unprecedented step that will enable an immediate response and connection of all relevant parties in emergencies, anywhere and anytime.
