Heavy monsoon rains have caused sudden flash floods in Yokkaichi. Streets are submerged, residential and commercial properties are affected, and authorities are on high alert as water continues to rise. Local transportations are disrupted, with roads impassable in many neighborhoods.   Advice:

• Avoid non-essential travel to Yokkaichi and surrounding low-lying areas.
• If in the area, stay clear of flooded underpasses, basements, and low-lying areas.

Bahamas Power & Light has confirmed that several Eastern New Providence neighborhoods are currently without electricity. The outage is due to a lightning strike that damaged power lines, causing widespread disruptions. Crews have been dispatched to repair the affected lines and estimate that it will take several days to fix.   Advice:

An explosion occurred at Bar Mis Tesoros in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid around 3:00 PM local time, injuring 14 people. Severe thunderstorms are ongoing over the Free State and southern KwaZulu-Natal, with hail, heavy downpours, and strong winds possible. At the same time, very high to extreme fire danger is in effect across the western Free State, North West, Northern Cape, and Lowveld. Brazil: - Embaixada de Israel, Brasília at 10:00AM Outside the Israeli Embassy. - Praça Mauá, Rio de Janeiro at 10:00AM. - Praça Roosevelt, São Paulo at 2:00PM. Greece: - Syntagma Square, Athens at 7:00PM. Advice: - Avoid areas around the mentioned places all day long - tensions may rise and spread rapidly. - Protest dynamics can shift unexpectedly. Maintain a safe distance and follow the directions of law enforcement. - Expect increased police presence and traffic diversions throughout the surrounding area. - Refrain from engaging in geopolitical discussions with protesters or bystanders. Strong winds are set to batter most of England and Wales on Sunday. A yellow weather warning for 45 to 55mph gusts covers most of these areas, starting at 8pm Sunday and lasting until 6pm Monday.
