Explosion Triggers Security Alert in Oslo

A blast occurred Tuesday night on a street in central Oslo, prompting police to send an emergency alert to residents’ phones. No injuries were reported, but officers discovered a second explosive device described as a “military-style” hand grenade, which they safely detonated in a controlled explosion. One suspect (reportedly a 13-year-old) was apprehended, and police are investigating motives. The area has since been secured.   Advice: *Avoid the Bislett area in central Oslo until authorities complete their investigation and declare it safe. *Expect an elevated police presence and possible road closures in downtown Oslo. Take extra time for travel within the city. *Remain vigilant and report any suspicious packages or behavior to the police immediately. *Stay updated through local news or official channels for further information or safety instructions.
