The Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand expect waves of 1–2 meters, exceeding 2 meters during thunderstorms.   Advice: - Avoid low-lying and hilly areas in Chiang Rai, Chanthaburi, and Trat to reduce flash flood risks. - If in affected regions, stay indoors during heavy rain, secure property, and avoid waterways. - Travelers should carry waterproof gear, delay non-essential trips, and stick to essential plans only. - Stay informed via the Thai Meteorological Department for weather alerts. Although major rivers remain below danger thresholds, water levels in small rivers and tributaries are rising, posing a moderate risk of flash flooding, especially in 26 to 39 districts such as Doti, Dadeldhura, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dolakha, Sindhupalchok, Kathmandu Valley, Kaski, and Jumla.   Advice: - Stay away from riverbanks, streams, and steep slopes near small rivers and tributaries. - Avoid travel through flood-prone roadways and low-lying zones, particularly during or after heavy rainfall. - Do not attempt to cross flooded roads or rivers, even if they appear shallow, as undercurrents may be strong. - Prepare for sudden water-level rises: secure livestock, move valuables to higher ground, and coordinate with NGO teams for rapid response.
