A wildfire broke out near Liti and Derveni, around 25 km from Thessaloniki, and spread rapidly due to strong winds and dry vegetation. Although the main fire front is reportedly no longer active, localized smoke, emergency operations, road closures and renewed fire activity remain possible in nearby rural and forested areas.
