Additionally, several roads in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, have been blocked due to waterlogging. ​ According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rainfall is expected across Telangana from April 8 to 13, with a yellow weather warning issued for April 8 in nine districts: Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanamkonda. ​   Advice: - Avoid affected areas and postpone non-essential travel, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas.​ - If you must go out, check road conditions and travel arrangements, as many disruptions and delays have been reported.
