Localized business disruptions and health risks associated with flooding are also concerns in affected areas.   Advice: Avoid flood-prone areas, including elevated streams and flooded roadways, and be cautious in hilly regions due to landslide and avalanche risks. Prepare for potential power outages by charging devices, and anticipate possible transportation and supply chain disruptions throughout the impacted regions.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado warning for parts of Rapides Parish, central Louisiana, including Alexandria, Pineville, and Ball, until 9:45 PM CST Dec. 26. The warning may be extended or expanded with little notice. Approximately 109,000 residents live in the affected area.   Advice: Seek shelter immediately in warned areas and be ready to relocate if needed. Avoid driving until conditions improve. Keep devices charged and monitor local updates for emergencies and weather changes.  

Moscow's three primary airports, SVO, VKO, and DME, are experiencing severe flight disruptions due to prominent alerts of an incoming Ukrainian drone strike as of 16:45 on December 26, local time.
