Torrential rainfall has caused flooding, landslides, and major transport disruptions across Kyushu and parts of Yamaguchi. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued highest-level warnings for Shingū (Fukuoka), Hita (Ōita), and multiple areas in Kumamoto (Tamana, Uki, Yatsushiro). Additional orders are in effect in Nagasaki City and Minamishimabara. Rail and road closures, as well as power outages, are reported, with further heavy rain expected.   Advice: - Avoid low-lying zones and waterways prone to flash floods. Do not walk or drive through flooded areas. Be cautious of potential landslides. - Evacuate immediately if you are within evacuation-designated areas.
