Tropical Cyclone Jude is in the Mozambique Channel south of Mayotte and the Comoros. The system is moving west and is forecast to strike Mozambique at cyclonic strength on Monday. It previously crossed Madagascar as a tropical depression before strengthening into a cyclone over the Mozambique Channel. Mozambique's regions of Cabo Delgado, Nampula, and Zambezia have been placed under red alert due to the cyclone's approach.
